Anyone identify this pipe

I found this pipe lodged in the offside engine mounting bracket.

I have no idea if it\'s been there for years or recently come off, or if it\'s important.

Looks like one end has been cut so perhaps it\'s just something left behind after one of its rebuilds.

The cars seems fine.

I\'ve put the tape measure in the pic to give some idea of scale.

It\'s on small but..................................

There are loads of little pipes like that on the vacuum rack, some of which comes out near the offside to feed the air control valve with various vac signals - probably one of them was replaced and this was the cut off end.  The metal pipes these hose ends connect to are just behind the top of the water pump, coming out at the front of the engine, just in front of the lower inlet manifold.
