This is my \'84 RX7. Originally UK, was pretty rough when I got it bodywise and mechanically, but the engine was absolutely spot on. A full service and the engine doesn\'t miss a beat - 96k miles, no rebuild yet and no sign of a need of one. After I paid import fees, I got around to the resto. Hit a couple of massive obstacles along the way, but I eventually got roadworthy. Welded, respray, powdercoated the metal trim, fully polybushed and PI springs. Had a great exhaust on it when I picked it up. Here\'s some photos from the First National Irish Rotary Meet.

Picked up a couple pairs of wheels, some SSR Formula Mesh and Longchamps. Longchamps were rough as hell, but the lads up in Triple A Customs did a savage job cleaning them up.

13b, coilovers, adjustable watts linkage bar and Clutch LSD in the winter hopefully!

All the best Clive

Looking good. Both wheels looks good. :) BTW, that first picture from wheel, what are those?
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Cheers! They\'re SSR Longhamps XR4.

Great looking car there, the longchamps win for me, neither wheels a bad choice though :)

Where did you pick the longchamps up?

I bought them off a friend of mine, had them on his AE86. €250 for a full set :D But one pair of them were too manly for the FB, the offset was super low, so wouldn\'t fit unless I went at the arches. I didn\'t want to mess with the lines of the car, so traded them for the pair of Formula Mesh. I\'m a fan of mismatched wheels on 70s and 80s cars, as long as the wheels are cool :D
