Alright guys - in the middle of doing a full emissions removal.. Now in the guide it doesn\'t tell you about two actuators which connect to the vacuum rail but are left behind once its removed? They are next to each other beside the distributor.. Any ideas? il try get a photo.

That\'s in America dude just remove the secondary butterfly\'s in the lower inlet manifold you will see the actuators that operate it iirc

Sooperkent

What are they for and do we need them?

the hat

If you have removed all the air parts and fitted a straight through exhaust then yes as the secondary butterfly actuators operate once 3 psi of exhaust pressure is reached I just held mine open all the time on my red jumanji car it was never a problem

Sooperkent

Its not the 6th port actuators man - its other actuators connected to the distributor.. it looks like they advance or retard the timing?

the hat

Ahh yes they are exactly that my man just leave them
Be as you already mentioned they are just the vacuum advance
