Guy\'s I have an Exedy clutch and flywheel to put on my 20B engine and was not sure what torque settings I need to use or where to find them? I guess I will find the clutch to flywheel ones on exedy website somewhere? What about the torque for the flywheel bolts onto the counterweight though please?

Thank you
Lee

I dont know about the FD but i wouldn\'t imagine its much different on the RX8 the bolt torque settings for the clutch to flywheel bolts are 13.6-26.5Nm
Turbocharged 192ps RX-8 running Meth Injection on an Adaptronic
Fully Bridgeported 231ps RX-8 stripped for the Track
2nd Gen RX-7 TurboII on a GT35r (show winner)

I\'m sure you will find it\'s 360lbs for the counterballence nut

hope this helps
All the best Clive

The big nut has not been off but I might give it a double check. Thanks for the replies.
Can anyone confirm that Arnie is about right on the flywheel bolts? Sounds reasonable!

its probably hard to find because its not done often. if you have any mechanical knowledge then you know what tight feels like on different size threads. if you are that worried then a little loctite something like 242 or 270 medium strength high temp and vibration proof. tight is tight or ft if youre that worried. and im not just an idiot I am an f1 mechanic.

oh i forgot i dont have the bolts sizes in front of me but if you measure the bolt size and then search the std talk setting and go with that and again with a little thread lock

Thanks for the reply.. I know what you mean.. It is just nice to go with a torque setting if there is one! A drop of thread lock is not a bad plan to be sure though.
