Removing Lacquer from Diamond Cut Wheels?

Anyone know the best way to do it?

I\'ve seen a few threads from google on using nitrodol on them, would sandpaper do it?

How about a sandblaster? Or would that wreck the diamond cut finish?

Get them blasted or acid dipped mate I ha too remove the laquer from my equips total nightmare a whole tub of nitromors and it still had not all gone

Ok. Acid dip may be an option. But lets talk blasting. Wouldnt the diamond cut finish get destroyed?

Yes more than likely buddy I tried too find the best paint stripper I could and it turns out the uks health and safety :censored::censored::censored::censored: it up for us

As the yanks gets stuff that works a treat but its not available over here

Sandblasting or sandpaper will certainly wreck the finish.

Either paint stripper worked into the wheel then cleaned off over and over again or professional lathe turning at about £70 per wheel. As I see it them\'s ya choices.
