are you looking for standard or aftermarket? For the best aftermarket exhaust, go to somewhere like powerflow or any other custom exhaust makers and they will build you one to your spec.

For standard... well... either searching the classifieds, paying Mazda Main Stealer a ton of money or perhaps Clive will have some? Failing that, Tim at RXMotors should have a couple hanging around.

There\'s a few "cheapies" on ebay it depends if you want single or dual though. Clive does the high spec Racingbeat or its build one time either yourself or one of the custom build companies.

Some of the ebay ones are ok turbo back, mainly in the states though, its probably best to go custom and get a decent builder so that it will last. Racing beat are the main brand that offer high quality aftermarket exhausts, but they are quite expensive.

I\'ve used a Racing Beat exhaust for years, it was a great exhaust system - sounds good, can easily live with it on idle and it makes good power.

I\'ve also used a £200 system off ebay - straight through 3" no cat, 4" tail pipe with optional bung - it was scarily loud - made awesome power, but even with the bung in it was loud on idle, stupidly loud.  The bung was so restrictive it held back about 100bhp !

The next exhaust is a custom one, made up of salvaged parts from the Racing Beat system, but with custom downpipe, custom Y pipe and custom piping and valves to the RB backboses.  Going 3" to 2x2.5"  Hopefully give the best combination of a nice quiet burble on idle, with open header type power on full chat.

If you modify the T2 exhaust, you can definitely get more power from the car, but you can also start to get boost creep, spikes and other nasties - particularly if you do the intake as well, so be prepared to spend a bit more and get the turbo wastegate ported out and some means of preventing the boost cut on the stock ECU.

Ah yes, sorry I thought the OP had already got a few mods, you would need to make sure that you sort the boost creep out. With regards to noise levels they usually go something like this:

Stock setup
Racing beat
Custom exhaust (mine had a large racing beat midbox)
Ebay special exhaust
....
....
Jet engine
