Far from being "all sad", i just think its a completely dismissive comment regarding other manufacturers etc with regard to what Loeb and Peugeot have just achieved. Added to that your "tarmac" comment, you obviously dont rate Loeb and his achievements, although as pointed out, you only have to look at the 2nd place time to realise his performance was awesome.

Given Loeb\'s talent behind the wheel and the investment Peugeot have put into that endeavour.  It would have been more surprising if he didn\'t win by such a margin.

The other amazing Pikes Peak news was the fastest 2 wheel was an electric motorbike. It beat all the petrol powered ones !
