Quote from: Casey;8574061970 Vauxhall Ventora (3.3 litres?)

Used to own one of these and as Ken has pointed out, shared the Cresta engine which I know because when the Ventora blew up I stripped a Cresta of its engine.

This is a car that comes to mind because of its FD chassis type code, a code thats apparently shared by some sort of Rotary :Giggle
All the best Clive

Quotelooks like an early McLaren to me.
Not a McLaren, but it is an early something else!

Funny that...and there were also FB and FC models :).  Mind you probably not good for credibility to say your car was named after a Vauxhall Victor!

Ascari KZ1 racecar

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Not the KZ1 - this one considerably predates that model.  But it is an Ascari.

Guess this has proved a tough one.  As I\'m not going to be able to monitor much its probably best that I reveal.

It\'s the Ascari FGT, the first product from Ascari in 1995.

As Will correctly identified the maker I think that this one should go to him....so over to you Will.

Dammit, does no one try at this, I googled Ascari, they only made four or five models of car.  Any numpty could have found the solution out and I was deliberately not posting the answer.

Now I\'ve got to find something good.

Extra points for engine size and model.

I must admit I was expecting a reply from someone - as you say it wasn\'t exactly rocket science at that point!  Perhaps it was more a case of no-one being around?

As for the current one, I\'ll leave it to someone to nail down the model.  I\'m not sure you can work out the engine size from the picture though...:)

KenD\'s closest.  No extra points for the motor although it was hard from that angle.

Thanks Will, although I think Clive and Nigel did most of the work on this one.

Here\'s a set of headlights to think about:)
