Antenna Stuck in up position.

Hi all.
Was wondering if anyone can help i pulled home the other day turned off my 94 RX7 and the auto aerial stayed in the up position but the motor was still running which i could here now when i turn on and off the radio the mast stays up but the motor can still be heard trying to move it , has anyone had this happen and could anyone tell me the fix or does it mean replacing the unit and how hard a job is it to undertake.

I changed the one on my FC. It was sticking part way up. It was a fiddley job as you need little hands but didn\'t take too long. Have you tried assisting it up and down? And maybe a  bit of WD40 to help it slide?

Tried some WD40 the other day but no joy it will not budge at all.

The plastic has snapped inside. So you need a new one I\'m afraid
