I know of a complete but disassembled specimen if you would be interested! Unfortunately most of the mechanical bits, carefully wrapped and labelled, are under a huge pile of spare parts for church organs with the body and chassis sat on top!  I\'ll see if I can\'t come up with something to keep the interest levels up.

Very well...another rummage down the back of the sofa for this one.   No clues again...I\'m still coughing.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

"No it\'s not but it\'s an understandable reaction to what you can see of it! :)

Another head scratcher, but I think this could be a car with a famous connection because Steve McQueen decided to buy one.  I believe its a Siata 208S.

jinx

That\'s the one...a pretty package for Fiat\'s V8 engine.  The clue car was Steve McQueen\'s. This one wasn\'t owned by anyone famous but you can at least see all of it! All yours Ken.

KenD

Thanks jinx.  According to wiki it seems McQueen may have rebadged it as a Ferrari?  Wonder if that\'s true?

Keeping to a sporty theme, another little red number to consider:

Well it\'s a Stanguellini 1100 but I only know that because having ignored it while I tried to catch up on other stuff I Googled to find it on my tea break.  TBH I thought it might be an OSCA based on the Siata\'s background neighbour or a total red herring in the sense of not being Italian at all!

I\'m still a bit behind so do another one Ken...see if you can capture their attention. You might be better going for something with zircon encrusted titanium alloy wheels and 15 inch wide tyres unless it is isn\'t only the two of us who remember the joyful scream of a firm walled cross-ply!  :D

KenD

It is indeed Stanguellini 1100TC. I confess to stumbling across it whilst researching something else.  Looks like I\'ll hold off on the MT.4 for a few months to give you time to forget:)

Very kind of you jinx....well I guess I will take the hint (to some extent)! Here is something a little more up to date.  I won\'t vouch for the encrusted alloys or the tyre width though:D

KenD

No takers for this British car?

Here is a bit more.....

Not an Ascari Brett.  This car would struggle to keep up with one of those, but it\'s a lot cheaper and you would be getting a car with some history to its name:)

Yes, we have a winner:).

It is indeed the Invicta S1.  Not perhaps one of the great performance cars, but it\'s stilll pretty quick and it looks the part.  And of course a name (not the company) that goes back to the 1920\'s.

All yours Will.

Have a go at this one.
