Alloy size for an FD

been looking around for some decent alloys but was wondering what looks best I always thought 17,s but will 18,s be ok or are they a tad to big.
If anyone has any pics of there FD,s with 18,s on id appreciate a look as alot of alloys I like dont go down to 17.

18s look great for the road but track 17s inmo....i was actually considering going staggered 17 front and 18 rear....

On a standard body I would roll 17s. If you have a front bumper and skirts and lowered the car a little then roll 18s. However it can depend on the style of the wheel too.

I put 18s on my standard car and it looked out of proportion until I lowered and then kitted it. Profile of the tyre on the rim can be crucial too, if you stretch a tyre onto an 18 with a bit of poke and rolled arches can look really good.

I will find the picture of my standard fd on 18s 2moro for you, at the time I thought it was ace but looking back it looked rather daft.

Most Time Attack cars look to be on 18"s, so I guess that\'s best for outright track use.
RZs and \'96-on cars were 17" from the factory.

So manhy different styles of wheels out there that it really does depend on what ones you like.

Was gonna refurb these advans for my 8 as some show/track rims but may try them on the 7 but not sure if they would look better in 17

I\'ve gone back to the orig 16s but could be tempted by some Mazda 17s. I like the light 16s and chunkier tyres but I did have a kit car before on 13/14s so the hike in tyre costs was a bit of a shock!
