Hey guys,

Putting the finishing bits on my fb and just wanted to see of anyone has used any of the 6000k hid kits in their cars..

My fb has aftermarket lamps that take a h4 bulb but its really crap and was thinking of getting one of these his kits..

Any one recommend a brand or seller of them??

Cheers

HIDs cannot be used in non HID rated headlight units, check out something like an Osram nightbreaker or some Phillps + 50s, they are normal H4 halogen but work really well, halogen headlights have come a long way in the past few years.

and how do you determine if your head light unit is cable  - the project car i have has a set of these lights in it  - nfi where they come from!

It may not be the bulbs fault. I rewired all the feed using relays and direct feed and found a huge improvement in brightness level.

I have the ebay hid\'s fitted in mine, apart from an annoying flicker when you first switch them on they are great. Ten times better than any halogen I tried but never tried rewiring.

Are these in a FB or FC? and do you have a pic of what yours look like when on?

Ive bought some rally spec 90 / 150s to start off with but failing that HID is the next call..
