Motor is solid mounted into the chassis so can\'t move . That\'s the theory anyway . :)

If the fanimold is made out of thick enough material how much is going to expand?? If I wasn\'t so lazy I would look at the expansion rates of stainless steel....

re japi

Is that Camaro -67, -68? 1000bhp, nice... :)

My friend has -67 with 400cui smallblock torgue engine. Its in very good condition. I love that car... :)

The camero is a 10 litre all alloy pro-street special , must be £100,000 worth looking at it !!! Not sure of year so will find out tomorrow for you .
Grant the exhaust manifold headers will have a slip joint on them so it can expand and contract without cracking . The exhaust side of the turbo will turn 180 degress under the car and the rear box will be sideways and cut into the back panel of the car with the tailpipe out drivers side . That\'s the plan anyway .

Looks like a 67 or a 68 Camero to me,, I was in to American cars for years and owned quite a few in the past,, spent a bloody fortune on them as well :Giggle

#200
Front brakes and suspension bits turned up at last . Result .

Went for 275mm x 26mm vented discs and calipers from a Radical in the end due to clearance issues inside a 13 inch wheel .

This is one side of the front suspension bits they sell as a kit for Ford Cortina based kit cars . You get lightweight alloy bits and all the nuts bolts , bearings , hoses etc etc so really good kit of bits .

Brett

How much did the brake setup cost? (If you don mind me asking)

Those would do the business behind my slot mags....

Hi Brett , they do soooooooooo many kits and packages that is best too ring them on 01322 286 850 with your car model , car weight and wheel size incase you can get something better/more suitable .
Prices are really good and lower than the local motor factors and they sell everything you need in various kits .
I got a discount but retail prices are £46 each for the 275x26 discs and £176 each for the calipers . They do cheaper 4 pot calipers for £122 and bigger more expensive ones as well in millions of sizes and combos .
One stop shop really and cheaper than Mazda , Ford , Renault , etc .

Grant Monkhouse

Ooh ooh I wonder Ifthey do something that would fit straight up too the rx4, its not double wishbone suspension though:( would save me loads of time if I could buy some hubs with discs and calipers instead of making my
Own hubs and caliper mounts

Grant they will make anything for anything as they have inhouse CNC machines etc .
