That\'s 1450 bhp of fuel capacity at 80% duty cycle (on my purely theoretical calculator).  That\'s cool!

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Sicknote

lol, d\'ya think it will do the job ?   hehe

I\'d say that\'s a "safe" fuel set up.  Even if you get crazy with the boost controller.

Dave, you are already a rotary legend for building this amazing car.

Once it hits the tarmac and you manage to tame it, you will be a rotary God!

Sicknote

PMSL, thanks fella, or if I don\'t tame it... a dead wanna-be legend !!!  hehe

Dave,
I\'ve followed your build thread since it started, just awesome the quality of the build and the quality of the work.
It\'s amazing to think how hard you have worked to get to this from the FD I followed at Castle Combe almost 12 months ago.

For what its worth, well done.

Not too much movement tonight considering the amount of work put in.

We came to the conclusion that the only way we could get the optimum position for me was to cut the floor
out and start again so thats what we did !!  :D

First tonight I installed the 044 fuel pumps.

Onto cutting the floor out

More weight saving !!  lol

Just a quick shot of one of the sections ready for tig welding.  :)

Sicknote

Another fiddly bit tonight with the fuel system.   Back onto the seats tomorrow evening.

The fuel parts arrived today, all the joins and the teflon hoses.

Drilled a couple of holes in preparation for the hose grommet and hoses to run through.

And fitted the fuel pumps properly and a few of the joins in preparation for the arrival of the dash 10 fuel filter tomorrow.

Hey Dave.. So much bling!
I didn\'t get any message back from you the other day unless it got junked?!
Let me know as I am hoping to make some good progress this weekend in that department!

Stupid question...

Aren\'t you supposed to filter the fuel before the pumps? Then they don\'t get clogged up? Not that they will get anything in them anyway

Sicknote

You\'d never get anything big enough in there to clog a pump, the filter is to protect the injectors from debris

OK, we\'ve really been lacking in motivation as the latest bits have taken so long, but we stuck at it today and Balky
finished welding the drivers lowered floorpan in.

No pics but the seat rails are now bolted in and we test fitted the dash.

And the drivers seat in place.

And a quick shot of the wet and road wheels now with tyres.  :)

And a moonshine bucket hidden in passengers side :D
