Pretty much ready to do a test start of the car this weekend :-O

Engine back together, fluids done, minor wiring issues which I\'ll look at over the weekend.

Did a sensor check on the Apexi to see if all was healthy, few things highlighted due to the single conversion & OMP removal:

Just need to get the bumpers and wheels back on and it\'s ready for the rollers :-)

Replacement skirts in red:

Car needs a wash!!!

It needs more than a wash!!

The dust will blow off once your going sideways so don\'t worry about it too much

The beauty of matt black is it hides alot.

I\'ll chuck a bucket of water of it at some point :guinness

Just noticed the cable ties holding the skirts on!! Drifters favourite tool.

£100 for 5 gallons of race gas?  Give it time and that\'ll be cheap!
RX8 High Power, Cusco Coilovers, Dotz wheels and flames. Shoe Size 12

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

I know, it is actually cheaper to buy methanol these days, only problem is you cant see it burning during the day:(:flamed:flamed

il be weighing what I\'ve removed to confirm, but there\'s no way is multiple kilos. must be thinner or lesd of it in the fd then.

I removed everything from inside the car (not the boot)  4kg :cool

My friend Alex came through today with my new swirlpot which is designed on the size and shape of the charcoal canister so will be nicely hidden under the car :D

What you recon?

What else should be removed when u remove that canister?

I\'ve had to start again with my wiring look, as the one i had soldered the injectors & resistors to was extremely brittle and a couple of connectors snapped while i was refitting. So i\'ve gone back to my previous loom and kept it simple by jusst wrapping up the unwanted plugs rather than stripping and then done the soldering (this time with heat shrink )

When I bought my resistors they told me the should be mounted on a coolingplate.. Heres how I did

I put all the crap into a bag today and figured it to be about 3kgs top, but having said that, I missed a few sections.

What do you mean what else needs removing? I\'ve stripped he canister and plugged the lines. Slight issue being pressure build up during hot weather and lots of drifting :-/ sorted by opening he filler cap every so often :-)

Nice work on mounting the resistors, looks neater.

Isnt it connected to the small cylinder thing thats mounted under the elbow?? I want to throw that away also
