An original set of Elford Alloys which I\'d bought from a fellow member and I had them TWR Chrome powder coated for use on my white RX7 ..... until the Elford turned up that is

Do you know how many are still on the road? My RX7 is a Mk1 Reg XLH ***X.

I think your\'s is a blue 1st Gen, what we call a Series 2.

there\'s a Location List that I did for 1st Gen RX7\'s in the British Isles. Date Jan this year.

It has 193 Series 3 cars, 112 Series 2 like yours and 41 Series 1 cars.

It\'s a pdf file. I don\'t seem to have attachment or PM privileges on here any more so perhaps you want to view it on rx7 dot com forum where I mainly post to now.

Your car is in the Series 2 section at No. 108, in the \'unknown location\' part at the bottom. The next list will have XLH relocated to Cambs area.

To give an idea of 1st Gens on the road (running taxed or on track) work on about 1/3rd of the cars in the list. The other 2/3 cars are SORN, in barns, project cars etc. In other words off the road but with a chance of living again.

Just letting everyone know that I have now inherited the register and am in the process of re-configuring it to make it easier to maintain, which I am doing as time permits. This was an amazing labour of love by David Nock ("Codge") and I hope to keep it going.

Attached is the most recent (May 2024) "published" register, but I have made quite a few changes/updates/additions to it since May last year. The register is now more easily searchable, and I can answer any queries anyone may have.

There is no doubt the register will have much out-dated information and some errors, but it is the only list that exists!

I would welcome any recent news/sightings of 1st Gens, so I can check and, where needed, update the register. Either post up in here, or drop me a PM. Thank you
