Is will going for a PP inlet side port outlet combo? Hmmmmm???????

I\'m going to have a crack at seeing if I can be competitive in the Club N/A section of the Time Attack Championship.  The current champion is driving an E46 BMW M3 with a standard engine.  If Top Gear is to be believed then an M3 laps their test track in the same time as an RX8.  I figure that with a pokier motor, some weight loss and more grip I may be able to no be embarrassed.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

With a serious custom motor we could give you over 300hp but that costs alot.
Using the RX8 engine with certain mods and losing weight we can make it competitive im sure.
We warranty our rebuilt engines for Detonation, track day\'s and RWYB and NOW for 30 months which is two and half years or 30,000 miles
We also build all types of race or road engines.
We build race and track cars too.
Any kind of porting undertaken.
Single turbo conversions.

The top gear test track is always referred to as a power circuit too so on tight English race tracks you should be good to go.

I don\'t believe that the e46 has a standard engine for one second, I would I aginf he has got at least a "Cam" in it, what ever they are I don\'t know:)

Just out of curiosity, how much for one of those 300hp NA motors? Not like I\'ve been thinking about my next project much;) PM please:D

They\'re not cheap!

But I\'ll be in touch in the New Year about something more affordable than a 300 bhp N/a PP screamer.

I beg a single turbo fd would be cheaper way to go

Will66

Almost certainly, but I\'m looking to see if I can be competitive in the Club N/A class.  Not outright.

Quote from: Casey;844227Ouch, I watched the video and every time it passed on Cooper Straight I was tensing up, waiting for the incident. Didn\'t realise it was several laps before it happened, so I was a wreck before I saw what actually happened. Quite a hard impact there, so pleased no-one hurt and the car didn\'t look too bad back in the garage. Was it just cosmetic damage, or did some suspension components get bent?

Have you booked on the 20th Feb Brands Hatch day Phil? It would be great to see the car again.
@ the moment Looks like the undertray/splitter/Front bumper/indicator/feed side skirt/Oil cooler/front wing/Rear quarter/2 armco dents in both rims/lower arm bolt bent, so once again it could of been a lot worse, still will changing the turbo/exhaust/intake/diff over the next few weeks just a bit more work !! My mate in the car wants me to pay him his £10.00 back, to go towards his physiotherapy his still having from his crash @ Snetterton this year!!

It would be good to see you at Brands on the 22nd of Feb Phil.
I saw you going to Snett a couple of months back with your car on the trailer, i was going the other way in my black RX8 coming back from the Saturday time attack.
Hoping we can get George out for the 22nd in his time attack FD too.
