Just over 4 weeks to go now

FOOD:mmmm! - Based on the inputs so far, I\'ve booked a table for 10 people at a highly appropriately named pub nearby, "The Rising Sun". Plenty of parking and very near the circuit. Reviews of the pub and food generally very good.

The only thing is, they need the table clear for another party at 7.30pm, but we can decamp to the bar area at that time if we wish to stay longer. Bearing in mind the light will be fading at ~4pm, allowing for packing up, we should be leaving the circuit by 5pm and so I\'ve said we\'ll aim to get there ~5.30, giving us 2 hours to eat. I hope that\'s OK with everyone as it\'s not easy to find what I hope is a good place to eat in the vicinity of Brands Hatch!

Ray, I\'m sure they\'ll have a curry dish on the menu

Originally posted up this thread in general chat. Basically need someone\'s help in that I need to video and record a car flying around a track! It\'ll be two microphones in the cabin and possibly one in the engine bay, along with the camera inside.

So if anyone wants to let me clip a couple of microphones and a GoPro to their car drop me an email (i won\'t be sticking anything to paintwork or on the outside of the car)

Thx Ray, but as I\'ll be packing two cameras on the day I\'ll let someone else have the chance to get some footage from their car. As you were the first to post up, are you interested? If not, I\'m sure there will be others!

Jackaleks, in case you were unaware, Brands Hatch will only allow cameras that have fixed mounts, no sucker mounts allowed, no matter how good they are. Just didn\'t want you to waste your time if you were unaware and planning on using any sucker mounts.

Not a problem! i\'m going to make some heavy duty clamps for my mics and i\'ve got a cage mount for the GoPro.

Forgetting the RX-8 doesn\'t have a rear strut bar like the FD has... Will be able to work something out.

Somehow I very much doubt that, and with your new suspension upgrade you should easily be breaking the 60 second Indy laptime (if it\'s not to damp!)

Well, at least we should be snow free :Laugh; it\'s going to be cold and windy, with maybe the odd light shower but some sunny intervals too!

NickD called me this morning to re-confirm the total of FIVE garages we have booked, so the first person arriving tomorrow should see some signs up on a block of garages with either my name, or something with a rotary connection to it!

Please keep one garage clear for Pukka, as he\'s got a lot of gear to disgorge and needs more space, the rest of us have 2.5 cars/garage, so we can just use whatever one is convenient at the time.
