I have for sale my 1992 RX-7 which features the following:

Rebuild by WGT 8k ago with receipt for £3k+
Remapped by WGT to 341.7 BHP with print-out
Power FC with Commander with receipt for fitting by WGT
Tein Superstreet coilovers
Re-Amemiya wheels
Buddy Club exhaust
Turbo timer
Uprated radiator
Uprated intercooler
Metal AST (not yet fitted, but will be included in the sale)
SARD intakes
Lots of history

I\'ve just had the car compression tested with the following results:

Front rotor: 7.8,7.7, 7.9
Rear rotor: 8.0,7.7, 8.0

The car always starts first time from hot or cold and this combined with the compression results indicates an extremely healthy engine.  The odometer shows 134,000 km, which equates to around 83,000 miles.

Apologies for the quality of the pictures, the car could do with a clean, which it will get this weekend with new pictures.  The wheels are in much better condition than they appear in the first few pictures.  Bodywork wise the car is in pretty good condition, though the rear spoiler could do with being polished and the roof has a bit of lacquer peel.  The front splitter is a bit scraped on the right hand side (left as you look at the pictures).  The car really is good for a 20 year old car with original paint.

The interior features the standard Mazda carbon fibre effect seats.  There have been a few changes since the interior picture.  The steering wheel is very similar, though now black instead of silver and there is no longer a head unit fitted.  I am happy to include the one in the picture, though sadly my two year old broke it by leaning on the screen.  Perhaps you\'ll be able to get hold of a replacement fascia.  Also fitted are the following after-market gauges:

Lambda
Oil temperature
Oil pressure
Boost
Water temperature (sensor not connected yet, though the rest of the gauge is wired in, I was going to do this when fitting the AST)

I\'ve just given the car an oil change and have will supply the car with the new metal AST, deionised water and the appropriate coolant so the new owner can do a coolant change while fitting the AST.

The price is £4,900, sensible offers welcomed.  Please email me on alex.n.desousa@gmail.com or send me a text/give me a call on 07740 343 052.

Mr Froggy

Hi mate is this the car you purchased not long ago.
Looks nice car.

Yup, I\'ve had it since May.  It\'s a great car, but just a little too "no comprise" for me and we\'re not gelling.

Thanks Ed.  The market is pretty slow at the moment.  Should it not sell, I don\'t have a problem keeping it and perhaps sorting out some of the things that big me on the spring.

Sorry to see your waning to sell up dude... its a nice car...
out of interest what is it about the car thats not gelling with you?

Sorry to hear you have to sell up, how is the car a little to no compromise, it might be a problem that is easily fixed allowing you to enjoy owning a rotary powered car.

It\'s a few things really.  I can\'t fit my family in the car at all.  This is something I knew when I bought the car and I thought it would be okay, but in reality it means I only drive it about once a month for half an hour.  I\'m not suggesting that I\'ll hammer it around with my two kids in the back, but I certainly would like to drive something more interesting than my wife\'s Zafira on a regular basis.  I could live with this if I was absolutely in love with the car, but I\'m not at the moment.

In the past I\'ve found the Tein Superstreets to be okay for UK roads, but the last time I drove the car I found them to be too much.  Obviously, I could change them for something more comfortable, which I probably will if the car doesn\'t sell.

I absolutely loathe the sequential turbos.  I\'m sure others disagree, but for me they are so bad I\'m not sure how Mazda let the car out of the factory like that.  The power is unpredictable and it\'s quite possible to stall the turbos.  I should just convert to non-sequential really, it probably transforms the car.  I guess if I do this, I\'ll have to take it in to have the map tweaked.

Then there\'s the £2k - £3k 13b rebuild warchest I probably should have, but don\'t.  Am I being a big girl about this?  Probably....

As I read this, I think I probably am being a bit daft and am getting increasingly tempted to take down the ads.  I did order new brake pads for it yesterday....

Any interest guys?  I\'ve just got some new ds2500s for the front and EBC reds for the rear.

yes your being Daft... remove the Add and learn to fall in love with the car.
are you sure you dont have a boost leak on those turbo\'s?

Mr Froggy

Hi buddy I think the more you drive your car the more you will love it.
I have had my car about 4months now. You have to get used to it.
Now I can\'t wait to get in my car. Love it

Quite sure I don\'t, thanks.  The car pulls extremely well and holds level boost, I just absolutely hate the transition from one turbo to the next.  If the car doesn\'t sell, I\'ll definitely be converting to non-sequential for the time being with the view to converting to a single turbo in the future.

It\'s possible I haven\'t driven it enough to fall in love with it.

The car will remain for sale for the time being and I\'ll consider offers over £4k, though that doesn\'t mean I\'ll be taking £4,000.01. :)
