Hi any proof of a rebuild? How many miles since the compression figures?
Thanks
Mark

turnstagecrew

The compression figures were given when I bought the car, so 14k miles ago. There was no history with the car on import so no proof of a rebuild. The mileage is low so its very possible a rebuild hasnt been done.

What\'s  the condition of the bodywork like? Any rust at all including underneath?  Paintwork?
Also the ohlins suspension, are they coilovers or shocks and springs?
Do you know what sort of power it\'s putting out? Would you be able to get a compression test done for peace of mind?

turnstagecrew

The bodywork is in very good condition, no dents or dings to speak of. The paintwork is very good as well. There is no real rust on or under the car. Ive included a picture of some scratching on the drivers door edge which could do with touching up, but its not really noticeable.

I was told the Ohlins suspension is coilovers, when I bought the car. However they don\'t adjust for height.

The car is mapped for 12-13 psi by Hayward Rotary. I dont have a dyno printout as they do road mapping, but you could estimate the power from looking at other twins with similar boost. As for compression, I\'ll see if I can book it in tomorrow, failing that the end of next week.

Thanks for looking

John

Thanks, let me know how you get on with a  comp test.

Are the ohlins adjustable in anyway?

Thanks
Ant

I can\'t get the comp test done until next week now, but I\'ll post up pics when it\'s done.

I\'m unsure about the Ohlins. I\'ve never done anything with them and to be honest I don\'t know much about suspension.

Compression test done today at rotechniks. The results are good but confusing when comparing to the old results 14k miles ago. Any way results are:

Front 8.4 / 8.1 / 8.4
Rear 8.5 / 8.8 / 8.6
