Q: mass cable attachment

The cable tree from the battery to the engine (ignition etc) to the starter motor has a faurly big mass cable (black with yellow tripe).

Does it attach to the chassis or the engine?

both,to the chassis and the engine

it has just one connection. it\'s the one that splits from the main cable tree where also the knock sensor wire splits form it.
