Thats ubber cool... great build!  I remember seeing that at rotorstock in 09 and saying to my bro how cool that would be with a rotor!  Glad its finally been done and sounds awesome too!

Brett

Thanks :D

Still pinching myself that it\'s happened - it\'s so much fun :Giggle

I bet! Ultimate sleeper with a walking stick and national trust guide on the back parcel shelf and a picnic rug covering the back seat :King

Enjoy the turbo buzz!

Any idea where I can get one?  All the ones on ebay are generic... I want a nice chromed one :D

I had a chrome roof rack for a Datsun Laurel sitting in my garage for ages.  Unfortunately I sold it when I moved house.  Having seen the Montrose at GOTP I reckon it would have fitted.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

"Eat it with a chopstick!"

Brett

I\'m assuming they\'re not too common then?

I don\'t think so. I certainly haven\'t seen another l, but I haven\'t looked for one. I think you should go for the tartan rug and National Trust stickers though. I can get loads of NT stickers as my missus works for them! :-)

What axle are you thinking of changing up too? A 9" may be too big and heavy for you, not too cheap either. Some of the ford 8" can take powers of 1,000hp these days with the right pieces, made to length.

Or you could try find an rx4 axle with the strong shafts but more chance of platting :censored::censored::censored::censored: than finding one of those

Brett

I\'m in two minds at the moment...

Tim is still running an S2/3 back end with an LSD in the purple peril - so I might be able to do something along those lines...

or

Hilux back end, which is quite common overseas

Will probably end up tubbing it in the future anyway.......
