Hi guys,

Reading some older threads about tyres choice and a few people said they may try these RSR\'s next.

Just wondering what your thoughts were as a full set of 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 comes in at £446.40 fitted which to me seems decent. In need of some new shoes so any feed back much appreciated.

SP, will be doing trackdays and street use, not my daily drive. :driving

ive got some 265 18\'s of these on the back of my fd and have done a couple of track days offer loads of grip and seem to wear pretty well to

get a thumbs up from me :Thumbsup!:Thumbsup!

Have them all round on the FD, good level of grip in the dry. Done a couple of trackdays and they seem to be standing up quite well. Not as out and out grippy as 888\'s but very good.

A very good tyre, grippy, tough and very good value for money.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Camskill had a special on recently, 255/35/18\'s £270 to your door (thats about the price of 1 888 or ao48), i couldnt say no, will let you know what they are like after a decent drive!

Im after some of the federals myself, but camskill are out of stock of the 225/45/18\'s for the rx8, anyone with anymore suggestions as to where to get a set of 4 ?

Very impressed with the federals for the money, quite happy with putting down 450hp and even when the track got greasy after some drizzle they were coping well. Wear rates look good too. Not all out sticky like some other track day alternatives but better than a standard sticky road tyre! A good compromise i would say and they were only 255\'s!

Hope the link works
