Just change the oil as per service schedule.

so is there no thing tht u guy might add in the engine oil to try reduce carbon build up?

i had a long chat on the phone with a guy from the "wynns" technical dept and apparently their products are safe to use on a rotary, but have never tried personally, the only product i have used with no ill effects was fuel system cleaner that you pour in the tank

Cataclean is used in RX8\'s quite widely
Also seafoam (Mazda sell a product in the USA called zoom zoom cleaner that\'s pretty much seafoam)
Turbocharged 192ps RX-8 running Meth Injection on an Adaptronic
Fully Bridgeported 231ps RX-8 stripped for the Track
2nd Gen RX-7 TurboII on a GT35r (show winner)

Thx peps imhave a look at those

Oops how dim am I I see the title was oil addatives... Cataclean is a fuel treatment and seafoam is an engine cleaner (I would not reccomend putting either in your oil)

I your using quality engine oil, you don\'t need additives .
If your worried about carbon build up in your engine, don\'t drive it like a pussy.
And shove a bottle of cataclean in your fuel tank every 6 months. :Ladys-man
