Hi!

I have being annoyed over this for a long time, and now its time to make a post about it!

My engine shakes alot, I\'m afraid it will kill the engine mounts bit by bit. I don\'t have a BAC (someone got a TII S5 BAC? :D ), so idle is adjusted up towards 1500-1800, it doesn\'t shake there, but it shakes when I turn it down to 1000-1200. Reason I am saying X-X is that it goes up and down, slowly down, and then jumps up, I bet the missing BAC is the reason for this :rollin But anyways, what can make my engine move so much? You feel it in the whole car, and you see the gearlever move, the proper description would be an electric dildo :Ladys-man

Cheers for any tips!

Could be, but it doesn\'t shake when it is just a tad higher on the revs, which makes me believe it\'s something else.

Its not alot of movement, but it is rapid and all the time while idling, so its annoying as hell. Enough that you feel it, and see it, but not so much that it would be a engine mount. From what I have seen of broken mounts, this is far from it at least. When I rev the engine doesnt move more than normally.

Nope. Not ported at all, stock S5 TII engine, rebuilt one year ago, compression is good by ear at least, so no problems there. No white smoke, no blue smoke. Only factor that can have something to do with it is the missing BAC

i have seen at work that you are more likely to notice a worn mount when at idle than higher up the rev band, the other thing that can give you the issue your experiencing is a missfire at idle

I got two 6,5 inch Cadence 2 way speakers, ergo no bass :P It was worse when my IC was rattling, think it set off the knock sensor. can I try plugging it out and see what happens on idle?

It could be that you have a small chip on a n apex seal, that would make the ngine shake at low rpm but be smooth over the rpm you have it set too.
Might pay to get it checked out.
We warranty our rebuilt engines for Detonation, track day\'s and RWYB and NOW for 30 months which is two and half years or 30,000 miles
We also build all types of race or road engines.
We build race and track cars too.
Any kind of porting undertaken.
Single turbo conversions.

How can I check that without pulling the engine apart? There are no compression testers in litteraly 1500km. And they are brand new almost, 5000km max, RotaryAviation.

Might be the mounts, its not like they are new anymore lol does it shake at all when in gear and driving?
