15w/40 oil

Hi, I\'ve been given some 15w/40 mineral oil. Is it ok to use this in my FD please?
 
I ask as I see it normally is 10w/40.

Yep, I\'ve got some too and acquired it the same way

Is it Morris Lubricants per chance?

Thanks for the reply...... it was given to me by someone who is no longer able to drive. Halfords best I\'m afraid

Not specifically what I would recommend as normally I would say 10-30 or 10-40 mineral, but it won\'t hurt to use it up as it\'s free

Thanks Clive, I change it often anyway so might well use it as a top up oil, so it gets mixed with whatever is in there on the day.
