rebuilt engine on my car and it started went in for mot and passed then cut out after mot and has not started since. checked everthing i can think off and it still will not go, fires up for a min then cuts out, going to give it one more go tomorrow and if it dont start its going to be stripped for parts :2Mad

Don\'t be to hasty mate, can you get it to fire up and increase the idle to keep it running so you can diagnose further maybe?.

Adi, bit of a wild card but have you checked your clutch switch? Symptoms are either very poor or no idle unless the revs are kept up and i\'ve had this issue on a few RX7\'s. An easy (ish) way to check it is to get your head down near to the pedals, this is easiest whilst outside the car before you ask :evillaugh

it will fire but will not keep on running sounds like its flooded, but done flood thing as i have a few times before in past.have checked everthing i can think off. had this rx for 8 years now so not new to taking it to bits, was happy when i started first time after rebuild and sailed throw its mot again for the 8th year iv owned it and taxed it same day and it cut out on tuesday and will not start :censored: if it starts tomorrow ill pull it into the spray booth at work if not i give in :Grrr

no matt p it will not start long enough to idle and plugs have been changed have 4 sets off them and clutch switch ill check tomorrow ,thanks guys
