Thanks in part to Archbish who I stole the 1st part off :D :D

- Before you start crimp or solder some ring clips to the live connection and ground wires (you should have four wires coming off the convertor - live, ground, km signal in, mph signal out).  You may want to add a little extra wire to make to the speedo signal wires to give you a little more room when you are behind the dash wiring it all in.  I twisted some wire together, soldered it and wrapped it in leccy tape as I didn\'t want it to come uncrimped

- Remove the centre console bit (should just ping off, with only a wire connecting to the ashtray bit) and a couple of other plugs

- Remove the bit on the end of the dash where the door meets the car (has a vent that blows air into the door to clear the window). Should just pull off.

- Remove the shroud around the steering column (3 screws underneath, and then unclipping)

- Remove the screws at the side, 3 or 4 in total, and the screws underneath, reach round the shroud and pull toward you. DO THIS IN A WARM PLACE OTHERWISE THE SHROUD WILL SNAP!

- Unclip the  plugs in the back of the dash, and your dash and dials are free.

- Unscrew the 4 screws holding the remaining piece (with the aircon and stereo stuff). Reach round, and the bits it\'s attached to, and you\'ve removed the dash and surronds

- Grab the main shroud with speedo/rev counter/temp guages etc in it.  Carefully flip it over and remove the 4 screws holding the guages to the shroud.  It should now just pull away

- You are now left with just the guages and circuit boards on the back.  Flip it over so you can see circuit boards

- Look for the screws that control the power going into the oil pressure guage.  Remove the screw for marked IGN for the live feed for the convertor.  Screw the live feed off the convetor to the circuit board in the screw hole that you removed it.  Do the same for the ground signal (marked GRD).

- Do any other work you need to the other panels you\'ve removed.

- Screw the guages back onto the shroud

- Put any panels back you can before the shroud is put back.  You won\'t be able to put back the the shroud that covers  the steering wheel wiring, the plastic that goes below the steering wheel and the bit that goes on the end of dash nearest the door

- Grab the 12 pin white plug.  It attaches to the centre of the guage ciruit board.  All the plugs are specially shaped so you can\'t plug it in the wrong socket.  Look for a yellow and red vertically striped  wire.

- Cut it approximatley 5 cm\'s away from the plug.  Using wire stripper clear about 0.5 cm from each end you just cut

- Solder or crimp the incoming signal (incoming signal comes from under the dash wiring) wire from the cars wiring onto the wire going into the convertor (the KM signal going in).  This is where a longer wire is useful as the supplied wire is only about 15 cm long and its a bit fiddly!

- Solder or crimp the outgoing MPH signal wire onto the wire going in to the wire you cut going onto the plug.  Again, this is where a longer wire is useful as the supplied wire is only about 15 cm long and its a bit fiddly!

- Carefully put all the plug back into the back of the guage plug holes.

- Carefully slide the guages and shrouds back to their correct place on the dash.  The shroud should slide on to tracks that aid this and clip into place

- Clip and screw the remaining parts back into place

- JD! :D
