as above, its all ready to go apart from new radiator has no ast outlet. i have read up on ast delele, where can i buy a filler neck from as mine has the one you cant bolt the new top too or could i not get an outlet put at the top off my old one and use the ast cap on that. thanks

Mazdarotaryparts sell the kit but I\'m pretty sure you will need to change the neck for the bolt on type
There are performance cars and then there is the RX-7...........

12.3 second 1/4 mile, terminal speed of 122mph (1st ever drag run on a TO4R)

engine built by....... umm me! now powered by a T51 Kai......

thanks dave seen they sell the top part but i need to replace the old neck and dont no where to get one, was thinking off getting my old one changed so it has a outlet at the top if i cant get one off them would this work ? thanks

you need the Gen II / early filler neck.....

i too. was in the same predicament as you.
these are not easy to get hold as every one that deletes the ast must have one.

fortunately I ended up buying 2 and now have a spare to sell on.
i also have the bolt on cap still in the box.

contact me via email.....

when i got my radiator it came without that bit too, i drilled out the bit where the alloy mounting thing was welded on and threaded it, then i got a long car tyre valve cut all the rubber, took the valve out of the centre off and threaded it the same, wrapped some ptfe tape on it screwed it in and tightened it up and sorted
