Quote from: Arnie_O;823221I really don\'t think they have a monkeys about us having 4 track sessions and being so far away from the track.
It puzzles me when there is plenty of room in the paddock area that clubs occupy this should really be priority parking for clubs with a number of track sessions. I heard from Scootg that the Z boys had one or two dedicated track sessions and they where stood right next to the sound testing.

I have emailed Japfest with a few of the comments made on here regarding our stand position, the problems and safefty issue of getting the cars to and back from the track.

It will be interesting to see I get a reply :(

Quote from: DreRX8;823250Its always fun to go out to play with all kinds of rotaries, I always come away feeling like I want to adopt a bunch of FC\'s and FD\'s to come and live on my driveway and eat out my bank account together whilst sipping on the finest oil and high octane gas lol.

Welcome to Mazdarotaryclub and thankyou for joining straight off the bat, no 2 zillion posts before you commited to the club then :Giggle

Looks like you have been sutably injected with the max strength Rotary Passion bug :D

Really pleased you had a good day, at the end of the day the club was set up to help enhance your interest in your Rotary and it looks like we just may have helped, which is great for us, thank you :Party.

Oi!, what\'s wrong with the FB model ;)

A warm welcome to the MRC form me too, Dre :)

Really great to see you again, have a chat and see your car going super quick at Castle Combe. I\'m pretty certain you were quicker than me on the day!

LOL! Totally forgot about the FB (shame on me) - but I sure have room for one of those too.

Thanks for all of the welcomes.....im a bit embarrassed really - I cant figure out why after over a year of membership my post count is only a massive....2!!! including this one!! So really, I should be saying thank you for all of the fun last year too!!!

@AMH ....there is nothing like a good story....im sure I have rolled a fable or two off since the day "...and I came up to quarry at like 160ph......and didn\'t break...." lol...."Sure you did!!"  Also....thanks for the great pictures!!

@Clive I have an odd forum etiquette...straight in...full member....no posts....thats how I roll....ha ha....no, there will be more posts from now on. Being behind ObiWanClive for a few laps is a breath taking experience, makes you appreciate just how much sauce you are squeezing out of the 8

@Casey Always good to catchup. I feel like a naughty hoodlum when I watch your videos, you keep it so calm, and wide....I would imagine that our times very similar for the day....my guest sneaked into my car with app that seemed to magically spit a time out at the end of the day....(smh), but I gladly took the time from him he he.

I am probably a bit of a bad influence on that front too... though Thanks to Carbon in Motion for putting us both together.

I have to say apart from having to get the car past the crowds to get to the pits I had a great day, we got in fine and when we left at about half three the roads were clear , it was thanks to Malcolm that we got there in time, fortunately for us he is organized. We only had the two track sessions so got a good look around and got a chance to watch the rotarys out on the track in the afternoon.

Thanks again to mrc and I will see you next month

No worries Clive - I just liked it as we can see you!

We\'ll have to get there earlier next time as we literally just caught the last 10mins of the final session.
