S300 Borg warner

Hi I have this turbo on my car ATM only a year old s300 Borg warner but I still don\'t know what\'s the max power out of it or the how much would support any idea please?

Which one is it specifically? I have the s366 which is the largest off the shelf forthe 300 series and is capable of 800 HP on a piston engine, so the max you would get out of it on a rotary is around 650fwhp, but you would need a lot of boost and strong setup to near that.

Do you know what power level your car is at now? You will be able to pick up 50hp from that turbo quite easily with a bit more boost from a mapping session. What porting does your engine have?

Ok my engine is built in reworx for racing and it\'s make just under 500 ps at the time racing port if that what it\'s called and my boost ATM is 0.8 bar and give me 395 ps at the wheels but my injectors is 850cc all round ATM I will change them for bigger ones next month hopefully and all I know my turbo is s300 dont know what size really.

Does your car have a lumpy idle which sounds a but like brap brap brap? If so that\'s a bridge port, idles at anything around 1,200-2,000 rpm. If its smooth and idles around 1,00 rpm your probably on a street port.

You need bigger secondary injectors for sure, along with a new rail. Possibly worth upgrading your fuel pump whilst your at it if your on a standard one?

You should be able to get 500fwhp at a little over 1bar I rekon. Do you want me to get a guy on here to help you with some prices on bits you might need such as injectors and stuff? Also who are you going to get to remap your car?

Yes please mate if you can direct me to him,and I think it\'s street porting so is that mean I still can get like 450ps ?and I be hosent i don\'t want to go more than that.cheers

Ok what is the min power for s300 I mean does start from 500 ps and over is that right because I don\'t know what size it\'s my turbo .

We have absolutely NO way of knowing what trim you have on that turbo....
You have to check for numbers or a plate on the exhaust and compressor housing. This will give a pointer to the size of the exhaust house and compressor trim, and from that, take a look at the link i posted..
