has anyone heard that people has been attaching leaf blowers to the air box and claim that its as good as or better than a turbo but with out lag and the complex pipe work? here is a link to a example

So it forces more air into the engine? That\'s what a turbo does.

Typical Honda owner, vtec just kicked in yo!!!

I personally think its a stupid idea, i cant see how it can give u more power when it struggle to give enough air

wolfie1

would that actually work properly? the fueling would need altered at very least

fd3szhi

i dont think so most of tho kits are made in china so unless u want sommit to come loss and fly into the intake i wont even think about it

wolfie1

god no im not thinking of it! but just wondered

I bet the vacuum of the engine alone would surpass the power of the electric motor.

I saw the original video ages ago with a civic, it was on the dyno and did make more power....then they just opened a tank of nitrous next to the leaf blower intake lol made even more power :D

There\'s a vague (and potentially :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored:) rumour floating around that the next BMW M3 could have an electric turbo of some description.

Absolutely nothing remotely concrete to substantiate that claim mind. If it did though, I\'d hate to face the bill if it went pop!

i heard that one too but just cant see it lasting very long and the strain that would put on the altinator and batterys you be forever changing those
