Welcome to the advert for the sale of my Honda Integra DC2 Type R, I’ve own this car for 2 years and a bit and I’ve enjoyed every single minute of it.
 
Here is a quick run down of the car before I go into the details of it.
• 1998 (S) Reg â€" Private plate is being taken off
• 96,500 miles â€" Serviced every 3,000 miles
• UK spec â€" Milano Red
• Black Recaros in very good condition.
• MOT until Jan 2013
• Tax until 31st Aug 2012
• All usual equipment from a UK spec including ABS, LSD, Power steering, Electric windows, mirrors, Air Con, CD player and dash clock.
• NO RUST!
• Category 1 Alarm/Immobilizer installed with certificate for cheaper insurance.
 
Bodywork
 
When I first bought the car 2 years ago, it was faded in certain areas like the roof, bonnet and bootlid where the car gets most contacted with the sun. I saved up and had the full car resprayed after a few months of ownership. (2010) I had both front and rear Honda badge replaced while it was done as they are faded as well. I didn’t re-apply the 3 Type R stickers after the respray as I prefer the car without them.
There are a few minor stonechips on the front bumper and splitter but it’s nothing that would stand out. Windscreen surrounding rubbers were all recently replaced with fresh items.
Engine
I do my very best to keep the engine runs well and maintained, I always let the engine warm up after starting and always cooled down before switching off.
I change the engine oil, oil filter every 3,000 miles and always used Silkolene PRO S 5W30 and genuine Honda or HAMP oil filters. Magnetic sump plugs is used. Spark plugs were changed every 9,000 miles and I am currently using Nology Iridium plugs.
In August 2011, I’ve also had a specialist to re-adjust the valve clearance and timing, also cleaned the throttle body housing.
A Tegiwa “Whale cactus” induction kit is installed for better induction and mostly, the whistle noise that it makes while your revs climb.

Transmission
 
The gearbox doesn’t have any issues at all, no noise, no syncro problems , gearbox oil were changed with Redline 75w80, magnetic sump plug were used as well.
Clutch and flywheel changed within 6000 miles ago with a Honda OEM clutch, release bearing and Fidanza 3.4kg Flywheel.
Suspension and chassis
• Meister Zeta - R Coilovers with 32 stage adjustments, 10k front 8k rear damping.
• Front OEM strut brace
• Rear Spoon strut brace
• Trailer Arm Bush changed in Jan 2012
 
Wheels and Tyres
 
• 15” UK spec alloys in championship white
• Hankook S1 Evo tyres all round with at least 5mm thread fitted in July 2011, alignment were also checked and adjusted.
 
Brakes
 
• Dixcel Solid discs (Front)
• Dixcel Type â€" Z pads (Front)
• Standard pads and disc at the back in good condition
• HEL braided hose all round
• Motul Dot 4 brake fluid
 
Interior
 
Standard Black Recaro interior with very little wear to the driver side bolster, I\'ve always had the seat cover on to aovid any wear or spillage. Passenger side is immaculate. Full carpet, no cuts and scuffs in the interior or doorcards.
The driver side air vent is slightly damaged, they can be picked up ebay, forums, breakers for £10-15
Another minor bad point was that the central locking has a mind of its own, it works sometimes but not all the time. I’ve checked all the cables are intact so it could be a bad connection somewhere in the system.
Pioneer CD player with USB port in front. Inphase upgraded speakers all round with a set of tweeters on the front door card. Standard Stereo fasia surround is included but not fitted. If I have time then I will changed this myself before sale.

Paperworks
 
Ok, I might be a bit of a geek but I have kept every single invoice, receipts for every penny that I have spent on the car. So all of the things that I said I have done and replaced are backed up with paperwork.
To conclude, this is a very tidy car and has been looked after by myself and the previous owners. There is nothing that you need to worry about in every aspect, just pure enjoyment.

You might want to put "Integra Type-R" into the title of your post for clarity.

Also, I don\'t suppose the original reg number is S595 MRA is it? As I had a Milano DC2 with white wheels, because it was actually an import from Holland and that\'s what they came with in 1998, rather than the gunmetal grey that is the norm on red and black DC2s. Not sure Honda UK sold anything other than Champ White cars until 1999.

If it was my car, it hasn\'t done many miles since I sold it 8 years ago!
