I am with performance direct on their classic car policy, as long as you are over 25 then you should be able to get it :) its cheaper than normal insurance and also doesn\'t use no claims bonus, so you can use it on another car if you had a daily drive that wasn\'t the RX, so double saving!

Also try Peter Best

I have Classic Car with them, limited mileage
I started with nothing and I have most of it left

I\'m with Graham Sykes, they\'ve got an on-line quote system, see http://graham-sykes.co.uk/classic_cars_insurance.html

My RX-4 is £160 with all modifications declared.

We\'re with Heritage in Birmingham, 0121 246 5050 They are familiar with 1st Gens.

Agreed Value basis is best to avoid arguments in the event of....., but that needs photos etc. It also helps if you can go on a milage limit.

I run a 99 spec FD with Pete Best, with mod declared it\'s £216 per year on a limited 3000 miles a year.

I\'m with Houghton.

Had some issues with Heritage not telling me my no claims weren\'t accrued (due to it being a daily). Excuse was they didn\'t need to tell me at any time :reallymad Almost lost 4yrs no claims and lost 2 yrs whilst with heritage.

Hi Phillip

I have 2 cars with AON and have been very happy with the price and service received

 http://www.specialistcars.aon.co.uk/classic-car-insurance-fj.aspx

Not sure if you and others reading this are aware, but by being a full club member of Mazdarotaryclub one of your entitlements is an agreed value insurance letter so that should anything really bad happen to your car then you will be paid out an agreed replacement value rather than the pittance offered by being paid out "market value"

Staggers me that we have many members and non members who have pumped many thousands of pounds into their beloved Rotary and have no agreed valuation, meaning they would get next to nothing should something unthinkable happen

Sadly I know of Rotary owners who have fallen foul of no pre agreed valuation and seriously regretted it :xconfused

hope this helps
All the best Clive
