Any ideas on the times yet buddy?

Casey

^^ Sorry Dan, no info yet, if it is anything like last year we kept asking for this and it wasn\'t until ~2 weeks before Japfest we finally got it!

URGENT AND HUGELY IMPORTANT: OK, so you are all sitting back smugly and looking forward to your time on track (well I am anyway ;)) BUT have you booked your Japfest entry ticket and stand pass? If not, you won\'t get into the event and won\'t be going on track :(

There is a thread running OVER HERE were Lisa is trying to ensure everyone who is going to Japfest has got their entry ticket and standpass organised. There are some worrying gaps in her list so it would be helpful if everyone would hop over on that link and let Lisa know if you need tickets and standpasses via the MRC or if you have secured these via another source. I know some of you will be attending via other clubs so may not be on the MRC stand at Japfest. Not a problem, but please let Lisa know the situation PRONTO. Thankyou :Thumbs-up

Casey, I am sure I am in, however, due to the current state of my car, it does not look like as if I am going to be attending a track session :(

Those people who may want to take my space up on the track session, please get in touch with me. I will confirm my attendance nearer the time.

Cheers
Mir

^^^Really, really sorry to hear that Syed :(  I was looking forward to seeing and hearing your rotary on track. I do hope you can make it along, even if "sans auto".

I will contact Jayra and DreRX8, as first reserves on the list and ask them to contact you directly to arrange to pay you for your track session places (I\'ll relinquish my claim at this stage). If they don\'t take up the option than I\'ll offer the place(s) to others on the reserve list. To be fair, as we have a reserves list please don\'t sell the places to anyone else at this point.

Jayra needs to purchase your £30 place and DreRX8 your £20 place. I will make separate arrangements for DreRX8 to pay an additional £10 to match the published prices everyone else is paying.

If there are nay questions, let me know :)

WE HAVE OUR TRACK TIME ALLOCATIONS!!

I cannot guarantee that Japfest won\'t change these timings, but it\'s the best we have to go on for the moment.

Session H   11.24am   Mazda Rotary Club

Those first 2 are tight by the time ive made it back to the stand it will be time to get back out there again lol

Casey

^^I don\'t think we\'ll have time to go back to the stand. Come off the track, and then join pitlane queue straight away as they\'ll be wanting to line up the cars for the next session well in advance. There should be a period of ~15 minutes where the engine can be turned off and left to cool. Also, make certain to do a really good cooling off lap when the chequered flag comes out on the first session!

This is the wrong place but anyone meeting up and convoying il be coming from wycombe way I know there is always groups from the rx8 oc but thought it would be a good idea to stick with fellow MRC stand peeps.

:)

Session B, 9.18-9.36, is allocated to the "Z Club" session. So they will be lined up in the pitlane waiting to go out as soon as we come in at 9.18 from session A. That\'s means whilst they are out, the marshalls will want us lining up in the pitlane again ready to go out as soon as they come back in at 9.36. So it will be, exit track 9.18am, drive straight round to pitlane, queue up and switch off engine for an ~15 min cool down, then back out again at 9.36am.

Session "slots" are 18 minutes total, which probably equates to ~15 minutes on track, plus 3 minutes of "changeover". That\'s the same as last year, if I recall correctly.
