What Model Is My Rx7

Alright folks, I have a Jap imported FD3S. Its on a \'J\' 1992. It has efini badges but they could have just been added on. Its a twin turbo, twin oil cooler model and has rear leather seats. I read last night that this could mean it being a limited edition? I am getting my VIN number emailed to me tomorrow as I am currently away from home. I am looking to sell the car but want to ensure I get the model correct.

Type RB, simply stands for Type R \'Base Model\'.... sadly there\'s nothing \'Limited Edition\' about it!
Of course, each and every one of our RX7\'s, are indeed Special to us

The only Special editions are FD\'s with something writen under where it says Special Edition on the door stickers. Bathhurst, Spirit R and RSR i think are a few.
This is a common mistake.

Funny mine says bathurstR2 has the carbon seats, rear bins and deleted rear wipers, also a factory rear tint.

I\'m lost with model variations, its a 94m btw

What are the first three letters in your VIN? Type "X"s started with JAD or JBD depending on 5 speed or auto. Type "R"s start with JAE. And finally, Type "S"s start with JAA OR JBA depending on 5 speed or auto respectively. This is for \'92s. Doubt it changed through the years.
