Can anyone tell me what this is? I was trying to remove it to change the Vacum hoses and it snapped, the end that\'s snapped has turned to hard plastic and it is seemingly immovable! Is it important and can it be plugged? It connected to the t peice on the BOV, if it\'s important any idea how I can fix this :(

Why do these things always happen?

to me it looks like part of the air pump setup perhaps.. does the car start and run fine?

Best to get rid of the airpump setup anyways :)

It okay! I\'ve sawed the broken part of the pipe off with a kitchen knife and just about managed to get the new vacuum hoses on, however they\'re not all the way on. After loosing the feeling in my fingers (and the dog needing a walk) I\'ve decided to leave them until tomorrow, anyone got any tips for getting the new hose on the pictured connection?

Re the air pump: I have a removal kit I\'m just waiting until a few more parts arrive then I\'ll be removing it :)

If its a rubber hose stick it in boiling water or warm it up with a lighter, mayby lube it up with washing up soap or just spit on it, a bit of lube always helps with tight conections

I have a feeling that the vac line goes into the emissions stuff on the side of the LIM, which will be removed when removing the airpump lol

That would be typical :Giggle
