Windows 7 update stopping posts on forum

Hi,
Can anyone help me ?
 
Just loaded an update to windows 7 and its stopping me posting on the forum (currently using a different computer).
 
I\'m reasonably computer literate (but far from being an expert), so can anyone offer any constructive advice ?

Use compatibility mode and that should sort it.

Hi Ann,
I read the earlier thread which mentioned IE9 and compatability mode, however when I\'ve opened my Internet tools, it does not have either option, nor could I find these options explorig the various screens.
 
Am I looking in the wrong places ?

It used to be like a broken rectangle when I used IE - I didn\'t have 9 as I can\'t use it.

I\'ve gone to Chrome as a result and it\'s so much better.

I\'ll ask the other Admins.

To enable compatibility mode in Internet Explorer 9  (IE9) use the icon I have circled in red

wow thanks i have been having this problem for weeks, looking at my computer and then finding the post on my phone and replying and now i can post! yay
