I have been looking at wideband sensors to hep get me up and running and do some basic tuning on my car mainly at idle and warm up to get me rolling.. but also when ready monitor and check AFR\'s at higher rpm and load. I have been looking at Innovative ones and there seem to be two main options that crop up.
The XD-16 and the MTX-L

The latter is cheaper and seems to be a more basic to the point kit probably adequate for what I want to use it for but wondered if anyone had any thoughts or experience with either they could share? I just want to be sure I am not missing something buying the cheaper option that I end up needing..
I presume both are running off the same Bosch replaceable sensor although I cannot seem to find that info?

Thank you

AEM - I\'ve ran two, very good and not expensive.

The cheaper one would do the job the other is just a bit more flash and I believe a newer design as long as it has a digital readout and uses a good sensor it will work I think they both use the Bosch 4.2

This is what I have

Its about £40 cheaper in the motorsports section than the \'performance\' section!

What made you go for the Stack one then, over the AEM?

Thanks for the answers guys.. I have put off buying one for ages but probably about time I did!

Hi I have a stack one for sale , £100 plus p+p if you are interested

leeroy_25

Might well be interested in that.. I wouldn\'t mind getting a bit more info/feedback on the Stack one though as I am only familiar with the AEM and Innovative. What sensor does it use? Does it have any logging software with it? basic to wire in and use? How long is the sensor cable. How much use has yours had?

Thank you
Lee

Hi it uses a Bosch sensor like most others , the lead is long enough to go from the front of the car to the dash. On a rotary it will go on the down pipe anyway , it comes with the leads and only needs 12v and neg . There is all the info on the stack web site , it in mint condition

Hi Tinker..Can you drop me an e-mail please.. leeroy_25 at hotmail dot com.

Okay.. So Am a looking at maybe getting tinkers unit.. I have seen that this has the ability to connect to an ECU with a 0-4v output. but the Innovative seems to maybe have a better options and a serial port connection to hook it up to a laptop and log read outs using the supplied logworks software? Is this any good or is it a case of trying to make a lesser gauge sound better? Oh and the innovative says it can be calibrated? cannot see anything about this on stack?
