Help with viewing a car?

Hi folks,

Not been on here for a good while, but finally getting round to getting an FD of my own

Only thing is that I\'m out of the country until the middle of March. I\'ve got cash sat waiting for the right car, but after missing out on a couple in the past I\'m worried that my absence will be the cause of another missed dream car.

Would it be outwith the realms of good manners to ask if someone would be available to view a car for me? I\'m looking in particular at the Scirocco green one on Pistonheads, down in Dorset.

Alternatively, anyone know of a decent 350-ish bhp single going in the region of Â£5-6.5k?

That\'s the problem. I\'m not.

I\'m stuck in the North Sea at the moment, and as soon as I hit dry land I\'m off to pick the wife up from Cambodia. That sounds quite a bit pervier than it actually is, by the way. She\'s volunteering over there. :Giggle

I don\'t get back to the UK properly until the 20th of March. I was just wondering if someone who knows their onions could give it a quick once over. The guy\'s willing to take a deposit and hang on until I could pick up but obviously I\'m not going to buy an RX7 just on photos and owner\'s say so, especially seeing as it appears it hasn\'t been used much for a couple of months.
