FD3 Rear window Seal

Hi Guys, just a quick question, the rear window seal on my FD leaks, so i was planning to either remove and refit to see if it cures it or get a new seal (at scandelous money ) anyhow, my question is, does anyone know, can the seal be removed/fitted with the rear window in place or does it clip round it?
