Ross.

Hello everyone! I\'m sure some of you may recognise this post from FDUK as I\'m just going to copy/paste the advert. I realise this is lazy and I should be contributing more to the forum beforehand but I shouldn\'t really be posting about an FD if I don\'t own one, right?

I realise this is my first post, I do apologise. I\'ve just been on the low low whilst driving my Datsun. I\'ll post more when/if I get an RX-7!

So yeah, my car is up for grabs if I can find an FD3S I\'m happy with. I\'m looking into getting an RX-7. I am rather particular when buying cars, I\'m open to most swaps but the FD must have been rebuilt with proof or be spectacularly low mileage. No UK cars please, imports only. I\'m in Stirling, Central Scotland. I am willing to travel if I have the right deal. I\'m not willing to put cash towards an FD as I know my car has a high spec and would make enough cash from breaking it to buy my ideal FD.

Anyway, onwards with my car - I\'ll be as honest as I can

I bought the 200SX from a dude who got it off of a member on SXOC. The car was very well looked after and the original engine had been rebuilt. However it seized up on me after a few days of ownership, nightmare! The reason behind this is still beyond me, I haven\'t investigated further by opening up the old SR. A new SR20 was fitted from another S14A, the car was standard and owned by an older dude. His car was broken due to rust. So myself and a friend of mine (mechanic/fabricator) installed the new SR20 into my car. All was well after a half days work, the car was running well but blowing from the manifold and gaskets. I fitted the new injectors also and the O rings were worn slightly and letting fuel out. So my car is now in Hypertech getting new gaskets, OEM manifold and new injector seals! Once its back it will be running 100% and ready to drive. Even when it wasn\'t running as it should have (with the gaskets etc needing replaced) it still pulled very well although I didn\'t give it full beans from the few weeks it wasn\'t in the garage. Thats pretty much the history of the car in my ownership, not too good eh? I\'ve owned the car since around the start of September. The car is MOT\'d until April and has 4 months tax. The chassis has done 112,000 miles. I swapped the car for my B18 EK Civic, going from that to the S14 was a massive leap in power. The car is stage 3A, with the following upgrades;

Bodywork wise the car is OK, its a 1998 so its 14 years old, its not going to be perfect. The roof has dents in it (can be pulled out), there is a scratch on the passenger side rear quarter and the other usual little scratches. The interior however is immaculate. There are 3 gauges underneath the CD player, oil pressure and boost. The car also has a Nardi wheel which feels great and the Cusco cage also adds to the car. Underside the car is immaculate with no nasty 200SX rust!
