Hi Guys

After having trouble with my manifold, I did a lot of research in order to source a best manifold for my 20b. During my research I came across a company whose work looked really well and I quickly placed an order for a T6 undivided equal runner manifold. After detailed discussion, they kindly authorised me to start a group buy of their manifolds. When I asked them about the price of the individual manifolds, here what they replied

"Pricing for a 13B manifold would depend on several things… Flange (T4/T6), one or two waste gates, waste gate size, material, etc.

What would the potential buyers like to see?

A standard manifold (again, anything can be done at the customer’s request) would consist of 2” sch10, 304L material (perfectly suitable for the application… it’s the weld process that makes or breaks the manifold, not the material), equal length runners, .50” thk. Flanges.

Passivation to ASME A967 to remove contamination would also be standard.

Options would include, but are not limited to…. Material choice (321ss, Inconel, titanium), electro-polishing, overall design, flange options, wastegate options, etc.

Let me know what those who have interest would like to see, and I can give you pricing for it.

Thanks"

So if you guys would like to join the group buy, please PM me your spec, requirements and I will get you the price.

Pics of the work would be a help to allow people to see the standard of workmanship they expect to get.
There are performance cars and then there is the RX-7...........

Turblown

That will work extremely well( except for the wastegate location). That is pretty much exactly how I build most of our FD turbo manifolds..

Col-RX

rough idea on price would be good. I\'d be after once similar shape to HKS one, as all my pipework currently lines up!

Mir

Col, the guy is very meticulous and he does not want to give rough prices because I said, rough prices sometimes back fire. Loll

By all means send me your spec and preferences and I will get you the price.

Cheers

Seen the thread on rx7 club where these manis were made. Top stuff, a lot of hours have gone into them.

How much would a t4 divided flange with tial 60mm wastegate v band flange be?

Mir

Grant, I will ask the guy and report back. The work you saw there is nothing, lolll watch what I bring and introduce for my fellow rotorheads I am planning to become a ManifoldMan lollll however, I am not yet, so I better say nothing for a time being : D

frank20bcosmo

Hi Mir,
how are you doing,,

would he be able to get the specs for a Cosmo,,  I was thinking you may still have your old manifold off the 20B motor when you got it as I am sure the Cosmo will not be the same as an RX7 even with a 20B under the hood,,, unless somebody with more knowledge tells me any different ??

Frank

Mir

Grant you have PM.

Hi Frank, my manifold is still here. I don\'t think it will be an issue. However, I will ask him for you.

Cheers
