I\'d love a Noble, it\'s simple and honest, light weight and big power works.  It may not push the boundaries of technology or raise the game but anything with 650 bhp that weighs 1200 kg is going to have alarming performance, Noble\'s also handle well.  The price is excessive, but then so is the price on the Mclaren and the Lambo and the Ferrari and at that level I reckon the price becomes far less of an issue.  Think of it as a 458 competitor and it\'s overpriced, think of it as a budget Enzo/Carrera GT alternative and it makes a lot more sense.  Were it my money, I\'d pay off my mortgage instead however if I was looking for an adrenaline overload on track I\'d by the Noble.

If I was going to have just one car for all occasions I\'d have the Mclaren.  It might not powerslide as well as the Ferrari or look as insane as the Lambo but I think it would be far more satisfying to own.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Curiosity begs to me ask Will, why not just buy a Atom V8 or Caterham R500 or Ultima, you could almost buy a Maclaren as well for the cost of the Noble?

BlitzBoy

I defo would not have the Noble given the choice , its FUGLY!!!!
I love that Lambo its bonkers, and the Macca you could drive it everyday, I would have the Macca in gleaming black metallic.

Aventador all the way for me, it\'s what a super car is meant to be, over the top styling over the top power and even managed to cook its own carbon brakes!! Lambos are the same as the zondas, over the top for no other reason than the simple fact that they can be.

Another that bring me to the lambo is the fact of the noise it makes! V12 NA, the other 2 were v8 with turbos in the way of the exhaust pulses, one man at mclaren made the mp4 sound that way because the turbo setup made the car super quiet. The noble and mclaren both have turbos to sort out mpg and emmissions.

Just how many more v12 or to put it another way high powered NA super cars are we going to see in the future? Not many as the environment is getting in the way.

That Macca sounded pretty awesome in the tunnel in all fairness :)

It did but the lambo drowned it out when floored!! That sound was made by a person tuning the exhaust note on the macca, but the lambo exhaust was made by tuning the exhaust;)

I do like the macca and it is the most affordable and I think the noble look fugly from straight on In front of it, other than that it looked good. Made the stupid turkey dump valve sound which I would never get bored of.

I would have the lambo still and would have the lambo over Ferrari.

Excellent episode :)

Wonder if they will cover that new bonkers Nissan \'shoe\' with a GTR engine in it. I must say I nearly puked when I first heard about this mashup of Nissan\'s, but it does actually look almost ok in black. But why the Juke - it\'s just a hideous car - fed up with all these blind sylists...

oh - and I\'d have the Noble - looks easy to maintain, given the fact Hammond got into the gearbox so easily ;)

I saw said programme too :) Isnt what you said above the same thing, both cars had their exhaust tuned to give said note?

The Atom V8 doesn\'t appeal, imagine driving that to a trackday at Castle Combe from East Anglia, that would be rubbish.  Similarly with the Caterham R500, plus I don\'t fit in them, the Ultima is an option but I prefer the way the Noble looks.  Plus it\'s slightly leftfield and different which is fun.  The Mclaren would be fun on track but I think the Noble would be more rewarding to extract the best from.

I think what Grant means is that the Lambo was tuned for power rather than an active exhaust so it makes a nice noise.

the v12 had the exhaust tuned for power production which gives it its destinct sound, the macca had the sound tuned for sound only not power production.

L18M

just watched this on iplayer.. was good BUT what about an ascarii KZ1?
similar price, ok only 201mph top speed but much better looking than noble and mclaren.
admit its not as new as the others but i\'d go for ascarii. less common lol
2 doritos on a stick woohoo :rollin

I think it was more to do with new models available :)

i enjoyed the new episode and am looking forward to the new season coming, i would worry too much about owning any of those cars, how heart wrenching would it be if you left it parked somewhere and when you came back some balloon had run a key down the side of it!

If you have that kind of money you wouldn\'t be leaving it in places to get keyed. And the Lamborghini won\'t fit in a normal parking space;)
