I have install a Apexi PFC and commander to my 1993 fd, It is single turbo converted.

I have reset the apexi back to factory base (I think) but the car seems to bounce on the revs at idle from 1000-2000 rpm??? also wont let me rev the car.

If I start the car with foot on the accelerator it will rev right through as expected, but as soon as you drop below 4000 rpm it does the above bouncy idle?

any ideas

Mate, what procedure you adopted when you installed the PFC? I am not a guru but, I think you have to adopt a certain procedure to install one.

Cheers

Normally hunting (bouncy idle) is caused with the idle cells being too rich and the O2 control which uses a narrow band sensor sends a very rich signal to the ECU, the ECU cuts the fuel, the sensor senses a very lean condition, again the ECU injects fuel, if it hits a cell which has very rich values the cycles starts again ergo hunting
