I finally got round to trying to sort out my wiper switch.

The link on the net said I had to swop a relay from a coup version.
I can\'t use the whole switch as the cab incorporates the electric roof.

I followed the instructions from the link and still no joy.

The wipers work on speed one only and won\'t park.

Strange thing is it\'s the same with either switch and as one has no relay at all I find this confusing.

Have I swapped the wrong relay?

This is what I\'ve swapped.
I started with nothing and I have most of it left

Hi John,

I have a feeling that it\'s the middle \'not quite clear white\' relay that\'s the one I swapped.

If it doesn\'t park, that might indicate an issue with the microswitch in the wiper motor assembly - as that\'s the \'park\' signal.

As my car is off the road at the moment, and I have plans for the wiper switch anyway - I could be persuaded to sell mine :)

It\'s fully working on all positions.  I would only ask that I can have your broken one by return, so that I\'ve got something to work on.

I do have the single speed wipe so I guess it would depend on how much you would be looking for.

I would trade in both of the ones I have.

Let me know.

If you cover postage for the switches John, then I\'d be happy with a coffee or a beer and your old switch :) :cheers

I\'m gunna have to get to my wiper switch at some point too...

I have single speed and I can use the mist, and if I want intermittent or double speed I have to set it in position and beat the dash with my fist and it eventually switches... (and then the same to get it back to single and mist, lol)

The egi I found is the first fc I\'ve seen with working wipers and headlight motors

I have working headlight motors at least (although it took a lot of WD40)

I did also have a working aerial retractor.. The motor is still fine, but the aerial itself has rusted together now
