just recieved mine from driftworks... anybody know how to fit it ?

Ada7

From what i\'ve been told you just undo the normal button, remove the spring inside and then fit the new knob. Supposedly as simple as that.
I\'ve just bought one to and so will be doing the same as you in a day or two

looks like this... think the leather cover has to come off somehow... but it aint budging... maybe doin it wrong

rising son

and as you can see the rx7 button is a screw in....

the hat

The button unscrews separately and will also allow you too remove the spring from
Inside tbh honest it\'s pointless as the standard handbrake is crap if you want it too lock up for skids get a hydro

rising son

aahhhhh... right ill try and unscrew the button, was thinking hydro but this was cheaper :) and im no pro yet
Hat... so do i unscrew it with the handbrake off/ then remove spring and screw in the button ?

rising son

all done and fitted... not working properly tho... not returning to normal handbrake use... done something wrong

L18M

to lock \'normally\' dont you have to screw it to lock (with the button in out position), then lift up.
as the spring is unclipped, it wont work 100% like normal.
2 doritos on a stick woohoo :rollin

Yup the handbrake doesn\'t work as normal
The idea is that once you push the button in it stays there giving you the same effect as a fly off handbrake but still leaves you a part too pull out to engage te ratchet mechanism too keep the handbrake on for parking

rising son

yup all works fine... just me bein a d**k... never done it before, but all good ;)
