Ok plan B, Tue night ferry to Holland, 8/9 hour drive Wed, 8/9 hour drive Thu, same returning leaving lunch time Sun, Mon night ferry to UK.

For anyone interested its 930 ish miles from getting off the ferry to getting to the show.
I\'m debating doing the journey in the FD and not tracking her, instead getting smashed for a few days whilst there and enjoying the drive up
So between two people in a car to do the same, one pays fuel there, one back, and driving is split!
Whats 930 miles in fuel gunna cost ya, pennies lol   :3gears-lh

what, you mean, smiles per gallon?  
I would personally do a trailered FD + van, just in case FD goes :censored::censored::censored::censored: on the track if you are to track it, and you will have more room in the van for stuff
Besides, you can get :censored::censored::censored::censored:faced from noon to midnight, and still drive in the daytime on the track
The trip from holland to rakkestad has superb roads, until you hit the norwegian border, so i think you can do the full pull in one day easy Or, camp over on the swedish side of the border. Remember to buy beer in germany or denmark, but be careful on the norwegian border, there are import limits.

Last year me and my friend did Germany and Holland driving holiday in a subaru impreza. This year i might do Norway in my 528 beemer. Nice and comfotable. I would need an ass transplant if i were to do it in an fd!
