Guy\'s does anyone know where you can get male a female connector plugs that match the FD3 pre-1996 wiring? I want to try and make a plug and play loom section!

Help much appreciated

Thank you
Lee

Anyone. Some one has to know?! There must be call to make your own wiring harness and match it to something existing?

Cheers

what if you strip a standard ecu and old engine loom, could you use the two connectors? im guessing the wiring pins on the wires would be common.
There are performance cars and then there is the RX-7...........

engine built by....... umm me! now powered by a T51 Kai......

Thanks guy\'s I might look at taking an ECU apart but I don\'t know how practical that will be?? Depends how it all goes together inside?.. i.e I don\'t want bare terminals that could short out..
I have seen the Banzai part.. Thanks for the post though Phil. But as you say it\'s a bit pricey for what it is especially when I will probably have to cut it about as well to suit my ECU! but that\'s the sort of thing I am looking to make.
I hate the idea of cutting up the chassis loom!

I have a loom I use for spares so your welcome to use that one to save killing a good loom

Hi Dave.. Do you mean an engine loom or Chassis loom? I have 1 and 3/4 engine looms! so I am not to fussed on that side.. That said If you have the couple of plugs I think I need on an engine loom that could be cut off with nice length of cable that does mean I can keep my good loom in tact in case I ever rebuild my 13B motor! Chassis loom wise I don\'t think it would help to have a spare as I still need the opposites to all the plugs (ie the ECU end) to connect it to my car? and engine loom. I might pull an ECU cover of this evening to see what it looks like inside.
Next thing is trying to make head or tail of the wiring diagram in the service manual! That could take a while!
