TiddlesRX7

They are too expensive for Grinder! I wouldn\'t want to scare him now would I :)  If you really want to know drop me a PM.

I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Quote from: TiddlesRX7;802392No worries Ali, just sorry it took longer than I thought. I can get more made up for people, But only as per the forum rules ie I\'m not a trader and don\'t pay to be so I can\'t sell them through here. Also before I get anymore made up I\'d like some feedback from Ali on the fitment incase they need tweeking slightly.

Ade

No worries Ade! I\'ve had actually had some interest in them from another forum as well so I\'ll be forwarding on some details to you ASAP!

Quote from: papercutout;802409So, light flywheel and decent clutch =  more sideways? Good news, since I have an uber light flywheel too to fit someday! Surprised it made such a difference!

100%! To be honest I think my old clutch wasn\'t really up to the task at all, having let someone else drive it (when it had the OEM clutch on its last legs) they reported that, while it was fine for normal driving, it\'d slip when kicked, which in theory means less skid as the whole process is a lot less abrupt. Obviously the new clutch has no such difficulties as it\'s about as subtle as a sledgehammer.

Plus the lighter flywheel has made the throttle response so much better, perfect for balancing skids and what not.

Bit of a wiring issue at the moment, I\'ve been without a radio for the last few weeks which was just down to the fuse going, although just before I got round to sorting it the lights on the inside of the doors also stopped working along with the clock, which resets itself every time I open the door. I\'ve sorted the radio wiring out to an extent and replaced the fuse so the boost gauge is lighting up now but the radio still won\'t come on and the clock and open door lights keep flickering...any ideas?

There is a room fuse, check the fuse box lid that its the correct amps, just DO NOT fit a higher amp fuse

rising son

so cant wait to get my wheels on, after christmas, love the look of your car man!!

Ahhh that did the trick, thanks mate! The fuse had semi-blown; it was still making a connection but it looked like it was on the verge of falling apart. Had to go and get a 7.5A specifically as there wasn\'t a spare in the box but everything\'s working again, happy days!

Thanks dude! What wheels have you got?

Another random picture from when I went to Tesco the other day and couldn\'t be bothered to take my daily, what better car to do your weekly food shop in!? :P

rising son

Yep how did you know!? Where abouts are you? Might have to give you a shout when it comes to getting these DTSS eliminators on :Laugh

Just an interior shot I took today now the gauge holder is in place and the radio is in, also removed the dildo gear knob. Just need to get the other gauges wired up now!

rising son

awesome ! that wheel is lovely! im scared to fit a dished wheel as im 6ft and space is tight already, gonna try modding the rails, why did you take the dildo off? u sellin?

I thought the same but I\'m nigh on 6\'4" so I wouldn\'t worry about it! To be honest it\'s better as the Momo Monte Carlo I had on before was flat-faced and the bottom caught on my knees - the Nardi clears them fine now but makes getting in/out a little harder.

Just fancied a change, plus my arm was aching from wrestling with it haha. I\'m sure I\'ll stick it back on when a sideways hero night is on the cards.

rising son

yea the standard wheel on mine catches my legs, its more the arm length away it will be thats worrying me if you know what i mean... like it will be too close to me to move the car around quickly... maybe buy 1 and try it, would be nice for it not to be hitting my legs anymore, gonna try and move the seat back on the rail tomorrow... try for a little more room

dthebuk

oh go for a dished wheel man they\'re awesome! they give you so much more leg room!

car\'s looking bad ass, good work!
